Wish me luck!

Hello darls.. Today I'm quite busy baking the sample products to sent to one of the cake shop in Terengganu. Find out they are looking for cakes and desserts supplier from my cousin.

No harm to try right, so zap zap zup my head spin around what product that I should sent to them. Must consider about how to transport them, how long they can tahan and how fragile they are.

Luckily the owner have partner who stay in Damansara, so he can help me to transport them to Terengganu . Mula-mula, ingat nak buat cake in jar, unfortunately I saw the picture in their page, dah ade orang antar. So, I have to sent another product yang jarang2 org buat,

I decided untuk buat Nutella Cheese Tart, Meringue Cookies and Congo bars.

Pavlova

From meringue, take one step ahead. I do pavlova! Love this dessert so much..

- Pavlova is a meringue- based dessert named after the Russian ballet dancer Anna Pavlova. It is a meringue dessert with crisp crust and  soft, light inside. This dessert is believed to have been created in honor of the dancer either during or after one of her tour to Australia and New Zealand in 1920s. The nationality of its creator has been a source of argument between the 2 nations for manyyears, but formal research indicates New Zealand as the source- (source from Wikipedia)

This dessert is popular to serve during celebratory or festival. Topped with summer fruits to balance the sweetness from the crust and whipped cream.. even think about this right now, feels like want to bake it. The difficult thing about this dessert, they really takes a few hours to bake and need to dry it in the oven before able to serve it.

Pavlova topped with kiwi and India mango.. that mango is too die for, the taste just like Mango that ate when I was in Manilla

Meringue Cookies

Meringues are unlike any other cookie. They melt in your mouth, and the basic formula - stiffly beaten the white eggs and sugar- is virtually fat free and a blank canvas waiting to take on a variety of flavors.

To make the canvas looks and taste more better, put variety of flavors, like raspberry, mint, orange zest, lemon zest, chocolate and vanilla

My cakes - part 2

Assalamualaikum, selamat pagi and Hello there..

Haih la.. taip, padam, taip, padam.. Oh menyesal yer xblajar leklok zaman sekolah dulu utk buat karangan either in BM or BI. So ni nak bgtau awal2 excuse me, for all the grammar error and bahasa rojak. As long as I'm comfortable and continue blogging.

Today nak continue sharing my previous works, proud of it because I go through a lot. Always learn from my mistake and eager to make my cakes and dessert to looks and taste better.

I'm lucky to have families and friends that always, never stop to support me to persuade my dream to have my own business. I will start it slowly, no rush and as my side income. I do have my permanent job, but my passion all about cakes, dessert and cake decoration.

I'm looking for the satisfaction of my work, and cake does that. I guess is the same feeling when you apply on your make up, finally the make up looks nice and most important things stay on. Tak cair meleleh di pinggir kali.. (erk,. girlsss) The feeling that you can't describe after you see the finish product.

Just start to be serious in this business since early this year. Start with design the logo, open my FB business page and now BLOG. I do have Instagram as well but still using my personal account.

Lets picture do the talk

The Journey (first cake)

Hello there.. What a rainy evening here in Shah Alam. For every episode must have a beginning. As I mentioned in earlier post, my love and interest towards baking was during my first pregnancy. It was like during 7 to 8 months pregnancy. Then I start to ask my friend for the tips, she was my senior and of course she loves baking. I start to buy basic equipment and collect recipes. Watched a lot of YouTube's video Almost 1 year then I dare to try it. Its like try and error. Most of the cakes taste nice but the look..hehe.

Chocolate cake
Vanilla cake..
Chocolate cake with thick and grainy butter cream.. LOL
.. Its required a lot of technique and skills. Not easy thou.. Here you can see my first ever cakes. =)

Most of video that I watched is Joy of baking, oh she is really good. She teach the technique and how to bake one by one. I have learned a lot from there.
